John Hillcoat
Goalkeeping Academy
John Hillcoat has been a professional goalkeeper for the past 20 years, having played for 14 Senior Football clubs. During this time he has worked under some of Scotland’s top goalkeeping coaches. He holds relevant goalkeeping coaching certificates and is a qualified PE teacher.
John’s vast experience has inspired him to form his own Goalkeeping Academy catering for goalkeepers working at boys’ club/amateur level.
Regular visits to the Academy will give the youngsters a chance to:
- work with experienced SFA licensed coaches
- learn fundamental goalkeeping skills
- improve hand to eye coordination
- improve shot stopping
- improve handling
- improve distribution, positioning, crossing
- ...and a whole lot more

- To provide ongoing goalkeeping training and coaching all year round.
